Chinese Couple Lock Up 8 Nigerian Employees For Four Months In Abuja [PHOTOS and REACTIONS]

It was recently reported that the police have arrested a Chinese couple in Abuja. According to report from source the couple locked up some Nigerian employees in their apart for the maximum of four months.

The personnel of the Utako Divisional Police Station rescued eight domestic workers on Tuesday after incident was reported and got to Human Rights radio station.

The police took action by going to the residence and arrested the Chinese couple in the Jabai area and took their employees along to the station.

It was revealed by the victim's that they have been locked up since February 2020.

A lady also explained that the workers weren't allowed to go out and at a time she took ill without any medication.

A worker stated that N3,000 was deducted from his salary was deducted because he went to fill his pension form.

The incident has been confirmed by DSP Anguguri Manzah, who ensures that investigations has commenced.

He said the Chinese couple had been released on bail.
